Things such as do you want a custom look and feel, do you need to customize functionality, do you need extra help with implementation... all these factors and many more make up the cost of the project.

Here are some factors to consider as it relates to pricing. Keep in mind, typical may or may not fit your needs, but we are happy to discuss the needs of your distributorship with you so that we can get the right fit.

There are two things to consider when researching the cost of an integrated website:

  • The ongoing costs of hosting, support, and updates

WebAlliance e-commerce implementation is a guided process that we take our customers through.

In a typical implementation process, you will be assigned an implementation manager that will be with you through the entire process. The implementation process is divided into 3 phases and each phase has objectives.

A typical implementation takes 20 weeks, however, each implementation is unique and can be adjusted to meet our customer's needs. Implementation in some cases can happen in as short as 30 days. You will have recurring weekly meetings with your project manager throughout the entire implementation process.

Customization Costs

sometimes need custom behavior for part of their website. That cost depends on what the nature of the customization is, but the need for customization can add significantly to up-front costs.

WebAlliance has a modular setup, which means we allow customers to select different modules to add to the base system. Depending on which modules are selected, the pricing will change. Each module can have an implementation and/or a setup fee associated with it. The pricing of every module varies by the complexity of the module and the functionality it provides.

When you have decided that WebAlliance and Aldrich Web Solutions are a good fit for your e-commerce website, we will produce a proposal specifically for you. Our proposals will offer several packages. Each package has modules that provide the functionality to power your website. Our proposals also list the transparent up-front pricing for the implementation of each package.

In addition, we allow our customers to see the module pricing and to select from additional modules that they may want to add (ala cart) to a package. In this way, you can tailor your website to include the functionality you need without paying for the systems you will not use.






Up-Front Pricing Method

Our implementation and setup fees are upfront as opposed to hourly. Based on our years of experience, we know that charging hourly for implementation is a challenge for both you as the customer and us as your vendor. We hire team members that genuinely want to be helpful. It is a core question we answer for every team member before we ask them to join our team.

We have found that it is difficult to be helpful when everyone is watching the clock. When you, as the customer, feel like you must watch the clock for every hour or minute that you receive help, it creates an atmosphere of challenges.

Customers in this situation fail to request help because they are concerned about the cost. This leads to disappointment and results in a system that is a bad fit for the customer. Often this then generates significant cost overruns. Customers are left to question if the help they are receiving is necessary or part of a billing plan.

Our transparent, up-front, pricing method means that you know what a project will cost before you sign anything. We can do this because we simply offer an upfront & transparent price for implementation for a fixed timeframe.

We know that most implementations can be completed in between 3 and 5 months, so by offering a generously longer window, our customers can get the best service without the hassle of hourly billing. For the handful of projects that need to go longer, the project can be extended.
