Our search engine allows us to identify the best matches of product based on the user's search term and the searchable data on the item. Combining these two items, we can show the user the items that are most relevant at the top of their list.In addition to natural sorting, we also have the ability to place an influencer on search results.
Influencers allow you to boost the importance of some search results over others. This allows you to place a higher priority on some items over others as it relates to order of search results on the page.
Some common influencers:
•Item Sales Velocity - Shows the items that sell most commonly above items that sell less often.
•Preferred brands - Boost items that are of a certain brand over another less preferred brand.
•Other customer influencers are possible based on the item SKU data and system information.
